Katerberg VerHage Inc. employs over 50 full time workers and has become one of the largest and most respected full service landscape and site work firms in Michigan.

In 1953, brothers Hank and John Katerberg founded the company as a modest peat farm.  It grew into a commercial and residential landscape company that employed 10 people.  Hank’s son Norm and his friend Tom VerHage purchased the firm in 1971.  In the following years, clients asked for more services and we grew.  We employ skilled tradesmen in landscape design/build, site work,  maintenance, and general horticulture. 

For over 57 years we have satisfied many  clients with exemplary service, superior products and high ethical standards.
