The leaves are falling, but the plants are not done yet. They are busy gathering water for the winter. Keep in mind that many evergreens benefit greatly if they go into winter with a last good drink of water; so we are giving you permission to wait ‘till the last minute to put away those hoses. There is no better time than the fall to begin plans for next year’s landscape projects. Nothing will keep you as warm as dreaming about all of the spring flowers.
